Parent/Carer Forum

Here at Anderton Primary School, we have a Parent/Carer Forum that meets once each school term.

What is the Parent/Carer Forum?

It is a partnership between parents/carers and the school. It offers the opportunity for communication, collaboration and engagement and a place to share ideas and discuss ways in which we can improve our school and the opportunities available to all our children.

The aim of the Parent/Carer Forum is to:

Reach out and engage with all parents and carers to make a positive and productive contribution to the school community as a whole and to allow parents and carers the opportunity to voice their opinions and actively contribute to making a difference to the educational and life experiences of our pupils.

How to get in touch?

Each class has a parent/carer forum representative, who can be contacted through the class Whatsapp group. Please contact Mrs Culshaw on Dojo or the school office if you need help contacting the class representative. Any agenda points need to be sent to the class rep for discussion. Minutes from each meeting are available from school or from the class representative.

Protocol

The Forum is a constructive tool to help enrich school life. It is not the appropriate avenue to raise specific areas of concern relating to individual children. These issues should be addressed with the childs’ class teacher.

** The date of our next meeting is Thursday 5th March **
