Welcome to our Reception web page!
Here you can explore our wonderful EYFS curriculum and find the latest information and updates.
In Reception, the class teachers are Mrs Watkins and Mrs White. Mrs Watkins teaches the class on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and Mrs White teaches the class on Thursday and Friday.
Our teaching assistants are Mrs Hopkins, who is in class full-time, and Mrs Marsden, who is in class every morning. The EYFS team are all thrilled to be part of your child's learning journey here at Anderton.
Reception's Useful Information
- PE will take place on Mondays and Thursdays.
- Reading books are checked and changed (if needed) on Mondays and Fridays.
- Homework is assigned on a Friday and due in the following Thursday.
- Celebration assemblies will take place on Friday mornings. A message will be sent to you on School Spider if your child has been chosen to receive an award.
- We access our outdoor area every day, so please send your child to school with a pair of wellies to keep in school.
