Printing


The children had to look back in their art books at the fossil work they did last term, and then create a simple printing block using string.  They then had the opportunity to experiment with a range of other printing materials, which they can use in future weeks to add more printed detail.

Ancient Britain


During history in Year 3 the pupils have been comparing maps of Britain – from 60,000 years ago, 20,000 years ago and the current day.  They noticed that in ancient times Great Britain was part of mainland Europe.  They worked with a partner and noted down any differences and similarities between the maps.
